2 cups of porable splenda would be 48 carbs, not 4.8. maybe that was a typo?

fiber and sugar alchohols can be subtracted from the carbs listed, that would be then, net carbs. some people do not subtract, and some people stall on different artificial sweeteners and avoid sugar alchohols altogether. i eat russel stover's candy occasionally without difficulty. there are several wonderful and very low flavors out there. brach's is getting in on the action now too. you can get prepackaged sugar free brach's brand candy, and you can also get it out of the brach's bulk bins. bewareful of the gummy bears though as they are in with the sugar free candy, but sweetened with fruit juice.

I just food processed the splenda and made it into powdered sugar....worked like a charm.

again, please be aware that 2 cups of pourable splenda is equal to 48 carbs. there is filler in pourable splenda which causes it to have 24 carbs per cup.

i might try the later recipe you posted from the atkins- the first to me sounds so delish but i do not want alot of carbs. sue
