I keep remebering how good I felt on low carb

So here I am, and I probally need alot if help
I am from Nova Scotia and would love to chat with people from the maritimes...

Just one question . . . who glued you down and force fed you something that made you gain weight.

I'm across the water in Newfoundland, if that's any benefit.

Hi there fellow Maritimers!

Glad to see some more of us on the boards. There has been a few over the last year that I have talked to.

I also live in Dartmouth but work in Halifax. I have been low-carbing with my wife since Feb 04.

You may want to think about starting a journal. It is a good place to keep track of whatever you feel needs tracking. Also it allows others to stop by and check up on you.

Take care, and lets make the Maritimes a little healthier in 2005!

Talking I need you...

WOW Chair...

Your weightloss is great...your the kind of inspiration I need to get me through. I am going to start a journal today.
Knowing your from the same city as me gives me hope, that even a maritimers appetite can suceed, cause I love my potatoes, especially sunday Dinner. But I am doing it and working hard to stay focused.
I will send a line if I need some help

Edwina

Smile Yell Away

Hey Everyone,

I will be yelling also. I am going to start a jornal today. I been so busy these last few days that the LC'ing has gone well. Now I am off work till Monday so I have more time to think about it. I will let you know when it is done.
I am so glad there are a few from Halifax, good support. Do either of you go to a gym?
My husband is military so I have many options around the area with good gyms at Shearwater, Stad, and Windsor Park. Just got to get my butt in there

Hi There,

I've been low-carbing since Sept 04 and have lost about 25 pounds. I found it rough at first but am adjusting quite well. If you ever need an ear i'm around a few times a day.

Best of Luck!!

Hi everyone,
Wow this is great. I am from a little town about 120 km. from Halifax. This is pretty exciting to find so many others from N.S.
I am a backslider. I had lost 44 lbs. in 2000, but have recently regained 24. I started back on Atkins a week ago and have lost 2 pounds. I am finding it a little harder going this time- not in the right mindset yet. I am hoping that joining this forum will help with that. Pollyanna

Do and Polly, where are you from? Maybe we could plan a low carb picnic or something for the summer.
