The 29th I didn't exercise. I was too sick. Yesterday I did 45 minutes of the lift weights to lose weight video. Today once DH wakes up we are going walking at M. park which is 3.78 miles.

I did do that walk on the 31st. Yesterday I raked and bagged the leaves for two hours (still not done). I worked up a sweat so that was MY exercise for the day. Today I did 45 minutes of the lift weights to lose weight video (arms, legs, abs).

I almost forgot to post here....

on the 3rd I did 20 minutes on the treadmill and did 15 minutes on the stability ball (no weights)

yesterday I walked 3 miles on the treadmill in 1 hour

this morning I walked 3 miles on the treadmill in 1 hour

I am 92 % of the way toward the goal of 45000 points for a Silver Award. Only 3546 points to go!

Saturday: I raked and bagged the leaves for two hours and then I walked on the treadmill for 1/2 hour for 1.5 miles

Today: Walked ~ R. Park 3.78 miles in 1 hour 15 minutes.

Today I walked in cold for 1 hour 10 minutes. By the time we were done with the 3.6 mile walk it was completely dark. It was nice having the park to ourselves

I didn't exercise on the 9th or the 10th. Yesterday I did 3 miles for an hour on the treadmill using light 2lb. weights for my arms. Today I walked 3.6 miles at P. Park. It was cold, dark and windy but fun.

TPC Update: I am 95 % of the way toward the goal of 45000 points for a Silver Award. Only 1849 points to go! Hopefully by the end of the month I will be done with the silver and can move towards the gold for the new year.

Today I hiked 8.5 miles for 3 hours at the state park. It was very pretty. My feet hurt and I fell three times but it was soooo much fun. The trail is so different from when we went during the summer.

Hi Zed:

I just posted in your journal and then came over to see your gym log. It was fun to see because your exercise is a lot like mine - with lots of focus on walking and hiking. I love hiking and it is what really keeps me going on this WOL. I also use the treadmill and weights. We have a lot in common! I hope to do my 7 mile hike in the wildlife sanctuary this week. Keep up the good work!

Today I did 1 hour of the "lift weights to lose weight 2" video. Using 5 and 7.5 pound weights.

In the evening I did 1.5 miles on the treadmill for 30 minutes.

Today's exercise:
Walked 3 miles on the treadmill for one hour.

Update on President's Challenge:
Today I reached the silver medal! and now I am 56 % of the way toward the goal of 80000 points for a Gold Award. Only 34638 points to go! I figure it'll take me 3 months to get make GOLD!
