I just bought some Relora. The main 2 ingredients are the same as Relacore.

Rodmick.....I have had horrible constipation too since starting lc'ing and come to think of it since I started Relacore I have been going regularly....usually every afternoon....I actually had to stop taking my fiber pills because it was too much....LOL....I think it may have something to do with Relacore after all.

Later.....unfortunatly you can't take relacore while on a prescription anti anxiety or anti depression meds.....my sister called the 1-800 number on the bottle and this is what they told her.....she takes Paxil and Xanax......They told her to consult her doctor and if he agreed she would have to come off those pills first before starting Relacore.

Did you consult you doc about it?.....I'm assuming some meds may be ok to take with Relacore....but if you haven't talked to you doc I would suggest you do just to be on the safe side.....At the 1-800 number they told my sister that they do not reccomend that anyone taking an anti depressive or anti anxiety med take Relacore......I tend to agree with them unless your doctor says otherwise.

Question Different doses?

I've been reading on the web about Relacore. I bought mine at Osco drugstore, for $30 for 110 caps. Now the web sells them $50 for 90 count. Why did I get more pills for less money? So I did some investigation. According to the 4 Women's Health website, they give the directions for Relacore, Directions:
Take one capsule with a full glass of water, three times per day: morning, noon, and early evening. You may take Relacore with or without food. Do not exceed 3 capsules per day.

My box reads: Directions:
Take two capsule with a full glass of water, three times per day: morning, noon, and early evening. You may take Relacore with or without food. Do not exceed 6 capsules per day.

Why the different dose recommendations. Can someone help me out on this one?
__________
read lables of ingredients:
90 pill bottle
Amount Per Serving
Vitamin c 333mg
Calcium 21.5
Thiamin (Vitamin B1) 5mg
Riboflavin (vitamin B2) 7mg
Vitamin B6 17mg
Vitamin B12 3.5mg
Biotin 150mcg
Pantothenic Acid 7.8mg
Magnesium 67mg
Relacortin 266mg

110 pill bottle
Amount Per Serving
Vitamin c 333mg (same)
Calcium 33mg (higher)
Thiamin (Vitamin B1) 5mg (same)
Riboflavin (vitamin B2) 7mg (higher)
Vitamin B6 17mg (same)
Vitamin B12 3.5mg (same)
Biotin 50mcg (much lower)
Pantothenic Acid 8mg (slightly higher)
Magnesium 67mg (same)
Relacortin 265mg (1 mg lower)

Still a puzzle to me. Should I take the box recommended 2 pills or the web recommended 1. Please help

The different dose is because the box that says to only take 1... each pill has more in it than the box you got. So yours you have to take 2. Because each one of your pills has only half of what one pill has in the box of 90.

Beware of wal-mart. Walmart sells the box of 90.. but 2 pills at a time instead of one. For $30. So they're waaay overcharging. You're paying $30 for half a month. $60 for a month when some places online will give you a month's worth for $35.

Thanks MISSAEC for clearing that up. I really thought I was getting a deal. DARN! I guess it was a case fo just doing some simple math Well buying a bottle for $30 ~ 110 count isn't so bad, just to try it out. I would be upset if I spend $50 and I didn't get results. By the way, where do you buy your month supply?

Today is my last day on Relacore. Just took 1 of 3 pills. Will keep you all updated of any good or bad changes after I've finished the bottle and been off it for a while.

Lily....Is there a reason you're only doing one month?....The reason I ask is because my mom bought a bottle and didn't like the way they made her feel so she stopped taking them and who got the rest of the bottle??....Me ofcourse....LOL....is it ok to continue taking them after my months supply is gone?....I haven't read any where that you can't and I was wondering if you knew something I didn't.

I just can't buy another bottle right now that's all. We are off to Scotland next week Thursday and don't want to spend money on another bottle when I can use it for souvenirs in Scotland.

I may buy another bottle soon, just don't know when but soon.
