This is exactly how I felt every single minute of every single day before starting low carb last Wednesday. I hope I never go back to that feeling <shudder>. I am T2 diabetic and I can almost guarantee that I'd feel nasty and my blood glucose would rocket if I ate high carbs at a meal. I don't want to experiment either as I'm afraid I'd be off the lc wagon for good (I KNOW me). I think it's wonderful when we can find something that "clicks" for us, good for you!

Thumbs up Good for maintenance....

I would just like to add my two cents to this old thread... If you are trying to maintain and only have a little to lose I would suggest CAD... I still have tons to lose, but I tried this last week and maintained, but for one pound lost... I have switched back to regular low carb though because I was using the meals as an excuse to eat all the things I havent in a month..lol...which triggered a binge... So be careful and measure everything exactly so that you are eating equal portions at your reward meal...
