Why dont we have a meet next year in Edinburgh, its kinnda half way for people and so easy to get to by train or bus (well so are most places), and it has great pubs.
I thought we could make it the Sat the 31st January that way we will have been paid and the christmas festivites will all be over!!
We could amke a night of it and stay in B&B's if anybody fancies it let me know, and once we get it confirmed I can get Anne to make it a sticky..

have to say im very tempted - went to edinburgh for the weekend last nov and it was fab !!

Had a quick look at flight costs and there are some bargains to be had !!

Easyjet - from Luton all in £ 36.00
Easyjet - from Stanstead all in £46.00

Cheapest flights from B'ham approx £67
Cheapest flights from East Mids approx £70 ( BMI Baby)

Im quite central so am lucky that I can fly from any of those !

I'm off on Jan 31st, but should be early shift on Feb 1st, unless I can wangle a day off!! If not, we'll just come up for the day and go back Saturday night. I'd better bring Derek, else he'll think I'm up to something (knowing my past associations up there :lol. The Travel Inn on West Morrison Link is centr5al and the room rate is 60 quid a night. I know that some of them also have bed-settees in them so you could get up to 4 in a room. If you want breakfast the following morning, it's extra (but was very nice when we stayed there earlier in the month).
