and because anyone who has done this deserves to do their own happy dance animation, here's some basics:

Type in one of the following word, Just add a colon : on each side ...right next to the first and last letters. example= :word:

yay- jumping up and down
dazzler -the sunglasses man singing
party - is the happy face with balloons
clap - clapping hands smiley
cheer - is the pom pom smiley
wiggle- dancing smiley

My DH came home from work early. When he broached the topic of dinner, I told him I wanted to celebrate. We ended up going out to a seafood restaurant that serves all the whole lobsters I can eat for the same price. They were having several banquets going on, so we had to wait and hour before we got a table. It also took the food a while to be served. One lobster is low in calories, so I had 5. The waitress was very attentive, which was great considering how busy the place was. I haven't check my weight this morning, but it should be ok.

Oh Kokle I am so pleased for you. What a fantastic achievement. You have really inspired me because I have been trying to lose weight on so many different low carb diets and not succeeded. I have only recently discovered CAD and am happy to say that my weight seems to be dropping now (although after years of disappointments I am very suspicous that is will be a fluke).

Now you have given me the confidence and inspiration to stick with it and hope that it will work for me too. Best news I have heard in ages, no wonder you are celebrating. Way to go!

I still have a long way to go, but it feels great. I got some new clothes on Saturday (I have been buying them in dribbles) I was excited to be able to fit into a medium in turtlenecks and certain tops.

Just a quick update. I have officially started menopause in November, with the night sweats and hot flashes. My weight has been bouncing around. But, I am still under 150 pounds lost, most of it from doing CALP.

I don't know how menopause will slow down the weight loss. JUst wanted to share.
