count me in for nov 15th in blackpool-it's only 40 minutes from here.can't do the overnight as i'l be working that night but i can live it up on coffee during the day!-caffeine free of course.

while passing some time at work between jobs, l had a quick look at some of the hotels webpages which had online checking and they were full.

As l dont know Blackpool, which area ( North, Central, or South ), is being considered.

Anywhere in Blackpool is fine, it's not so big only 1 mile from north to south so it's all close.

doesn,t matter to me neither as long as we can get booked up.

you know we could also stay in a travel lodge of some sort just on the outskirts, they charge per room not per person so would work out just as good price wise. And they are hardly ever full, also some of the bigger hotels have room but are pricey, definitly for those not accustomed to slumming it in a back street B&B.We could all arrange to meet at the central pier or something, if we can't find rooms together, we could split up and meet at a place and time, all the illuminations are on at the moment it's gonna be great!!! And we want to get an early start right? How about 6pm??? Us ladies need to get ready you know, Christine I will find out how many people are bedding down with me and if there's room wanna bunk up?? Atravel lodge usually has a double bad and a sofa bed so room for 4, I think I have 2 coming with me, so maybe we could get a room for 4?? Have been checking it out and it's gonna take some finding, I think maybe everyone should book for themselves QUICK!!! Or I could just shut up spouting crap and rambling and leave you all to it.

Have made a provisional booking for us all at the Surrey House Hotel, North shore.

2 x Single rooms for sinbad and me ( £ 25 ea )
2 x Twin rooms for the ladies ( £20 ea ).

The chap said he had 10 rooms free on Nov 15th so if more want to come there could still be room.
