Default Missing Cheerleader

Aleka,

When you go to "post reply" - make sure the enhanced button is selected (it's just above the space where you type). Then, when you want to add something, using Nance's technique, be sure to type a colon immediately before and immediately after the word cheer. I usually just use the "clickable" list of smilies to the left of the typing space. There's also a thread somewhere on this site that's called "Testing" or something like that. You can try different stuff and see if it works

Hope this helps

We're all looking foward to your next cheer - thanks so much!!

Ever Onward,

Holly

Good Evening Everyone,
It's a little late when I finally have the time to get on here.Sorry that I don't have the time to respond the way I would like right now.Need to get to bed shortly.Had to get up this morning at 6 since our grandson comes by 7:30.So I will again be getting up at 6 tomorrow and Friday.

I rode my stationary bike 30 minutes today.Wanted to increase my time up to 30 minutes.I got my new stationary bike at Sears this evening but it needs to be put together. Will wait to do that on Saturday when our 2 year old grandson isn't around.Don't want a lot of little pieces around for him to bother.

I would like for those that will to say a little prayer tomorrow for my dad.My sister let me know today that my dad is having the treatment done tomorrow to freeze his prostate to remove the cancer.I will be at the hospital at 7 in the morning while the treatment is in progress. It's suppose to last about 2 hours.Hope to have a good report on how it went tomorrow evening. He is 77 and in pretty good health although he was also recently diagnosed with COPD.He was a heavy smoker for years but quit cold turkey 10 years ago.

Keep moving everyone!!

Nancy

New site I read about today in the newspaper.

I wanted to let y'all know about a site I read about in the newspaper today. Its:
www.presidentschallenge.org

You sign up on the site. After you sign up you will have a place to log in your daily exercise and try to earn awards. They recommend 30 minutes of exercise daily so that is why I upped my time riding the stationary bike.

Let me know if any of joined like I did. It's another way to keep us motivated and moving

Nancy

Chloesue, I'm adding my prayers for your Dad for a successful procedure tomorrow. Keep us posted when you can. We'll muddle through without you while you're gone and we can count on Aleka to cheer us on!

Sorry I didn't come back and make sure you understood my post about the cheerleader smiley. Glad to see that Holly got you set straight. I am almost computer illiterate so it was a stretch thinking I could tell somebody else how to do something on here! LOL! I have to do it my way because my smiley screen freezes so I don't bother with it.

Had company most of the day today so didn't get to move like I wanted to after my 5 mile ride this morning. Hope to double my steps tomorrow from a paltry 3989 today. The goal is to do at least 7000 I heard. I was barely half of that.

Need to go do my journal and then tend to the boy scout troop still eating crawdads in the dark in the middle of my driveway. What an interesting life it is here at Heaven on a Halfshell!

Have a glorious evening!
Nance
