Question

Hi Wa'il,
I am sorry, I have another question...I just received a private message...and when I went to reply to it there is no button or way to reply that I could see? How do you reply to a message without all the cutting and pasting etc. And are they unlimited for words now?? No way to check the message length that I could see.
Also Wa'il, we used to be able to click on multiple messages and then delete them, now we have to go into each individual message to delete them...any way it can be changed so it can be done from the original folder like before.
I still don't see my buddy list anywhere...have to click to see it...
Thanks again for all this time you are putting in...you are a wonder!!! All this patience with all of us...

I'm really liking the new set-up....takes a little getting used to, but it has lots of fun features!

Cheers!

Thanks for all your attention to the changeover. So far everything has worked fine for me except for 1 problem: I keep unclicking the "remember password" when I log in because I DON'T want it remembered. Will I have to unclick it every time I log in forever and ever? I'm hoping there is some way to have it stop asking me that question.

TIA!

Hi People

I'm glad lot's of us like the new set-up, but I have to say I feel awfully bad for Tamarian because some others are so upset about the changes, it must have been an awful lot of work to make these changes and already a lot of the problems have been fixed - in a very short time. Maybe some people don't understand the problems involved in making a web page viewable and workable under all browsers and computer systems. It's not easy and I'm sure within a day or two most everyone will be satisfied again. If it was me, I'd be just crying now with all the negative responses and not up to working on fixing it anymore.

Thanks again Tamarian for all this hard work

That's alright. I'd like to hear about the problems, so we can fix them.

My only complaint is the loss of the drop down menu that allowed for fast switching between boards. Also do html tags no longer work, or is there something else I need to do?

A few things:
  • I can't figure out how to make the Fitday link in my sig an actual link instead of a bunch of code.
  • I miss the "graph" graphic that shows people's percent of weight lost against the total to be lost. Now it's just a number.
  • The drumsticks icon shows a white background when the background should be transparent.

Otherwise, I do like the date posted at the top of the post instead of the bottom.

Wa'il

Will you be putting the journal icon back into the person's profile. Wanted to do the round of birthdays today and there is no indication if anyone has a journal anymore.

Thanks

How do I delete a post? I clicked on the edit/delete icon but I can only see how to edit and not how to delete.

thanks!

Default a few more questions...

Tamarian,
I'm really liking the new look of the website. You've done an awesome job
Just a couple more questions if you don't mind

1. is there a way to put the "log out" underneath where you have daily post, buddy list, that way we can access it quicker and easier than paging back to the first page????

2. also, is our journal link going to be added to the profile section, or could that also be put under the posts of the day, buddy list area, so it would also have easier/quicker access. Just a thought?

3. before your changes, we used to be able to see how many posts we've made. Just curious if that feature has been moved or deleted? I liked it. If it's been moved, where can I find it?

Thanks again for doing this, I know it's not easy, and it's hard to please everyone, but wanted you to know, your efforts are appreciated

The forum jump is still there, but at the bottom of the page.

You can change your HTML tags to vBcode.

The HTML tags have to be changed by members to vbcode, this is not a "problem", it was done on purpose, to prevent a security problem.

But the drumsticks are now transparent, and I'll add that little guy later.

You can only edit posts. To delete, use the report to moderator.

Some times deleting a post, makes other member's replies seem out of context, same thing with editing, but edits will leave an indication "edited by"...
