Gretchen,

Where are your veggies? You need non-starchy veggies from the list in the book - salads, green beans, etc.

Where are your healthy fats?

Your shakes are the ultimate in refined - artificial foods. An occasional shake in a pinch would be ok, but 2 a day regularly?

Maybe you shouldn't ask what we think - you are free to eat however you want. If it's working for you, that is all that really matters. Most of us here are doing CAD or CALP exactly by the book or with only minor mods. Real natural foods - real veggies & meats. No drugs or stimulants (except for an occasional coffee or tea) and no appetite suppressents. Most of us have been dieting a long time and have 'tried it all', and this is where we landed.

Have you ever met anyone (tell the truth now) who lost weight using stimulants and then were able to withstand the 'rebound effect'?

Lila

Lila,

No I have not met anyone who could take the weight off and not rebound after stopping that WOE, however, in light of that, I do plan once the weight is gone to do the CAD in it's true form. That way I won't rebound after having lost the weight "my way".
