Yup. I am definately planning!

My DH has already said that could take my paycheck (after the rent is paid) and buy NEW CLOTHES!

He said I deserve it. That's why I married him.

Well, it's not the only reason.

Question What did you eat?

Hey There,

What did you eat when you were on the all meat diet? I am trying to break my stall. I have tried the egg diet for three days and it worked, but I am stuck again.
Thanks!

I ate meat.
Beef, chicken, pork (which I really don't like), bacon, pot roast, all that good stuff.

I made sure to drink all my water. It's essential for when you're 'fasting' or not to drink every drop you need.

If I don't, I get bloated. Yuck!

Did you plan your meal times or just eat when you were hungry? Also, what was you calorie intake like?
This sounds really good....congrats on the weight loss!

I planned my meals mostly, but sometimes I ate when I was hungry. Grabbed a piece of bacon or something.

My calorie intake was around 1300-1400, I think.

Not sure about Spongebutt's meat fast, but here's the "official" unofficial version of The Meat Fast.

That's pretty much what I'm doing, except I have to eat bacon because that was the only meat in my house.

I just discovered the egg fast today with a LC friend of mine. We agreed to do it for the next three days. I told her I bet meat would do the same thing. I am glad to see it has actually been done! I am going to try this one next, and then maybe both of them together. Woo Hoo! I am glad to find something to "kick start" my metabolism!

Question Fast to break Stall?

Hi ... I'm new here .... my first post

I have been doing Atkins for 25 days. I lost 10 pounds in the first 2 weeks, but have stalled since then.

Is a meat or egg only diet a good way to break the stall? Which one is better?

Thanks

Keith--I wouldn't recommend going on the meat/egg fast. Stalling after two weeks is not uncommon.

Give it awhile longer while your body adjusts. Fat/meat/egg fasts are for people who have been doing low carb for awhile and have truly stalled/plateaued and are metabolically resistant.
