Question Deviled egg recipes?

I have seen several people talk about eating deviled eggs and I love them, too!

How do ya'll make them? Can I put diced dill pickles in them?

And if you use mayo, I haven't been able to find any without sugar listed in the ingredients, but they don't have carbs or sugars listed on the nutrition label. Is it still OK to eat with the small amount of sugar in the mayo? The jar in my fridge now is Hellman's...full fat kind. Out of about 6 ingredients, sugar is (I think) the fourth one listed.

Thanks!

Unless you are eating a huge quantity of mayonnaise, the amount of sugar in it is pretty small so it should be okay. I use dill pickle relish in my devilled eggs as well as Hellman's mayonnaise, a little mustard and a shot or two of tobasco sauce.
These make a great low carb snack or appetizer.

Thumbs up Deviled eggs recipe

Hey guys!

Here's how i make my deviled eggs.

I boil 2 eggs till they are hard boiled, which i believe its 7 minutes.

I cut them in 1\2, length wise, and i scoop the yolk out. To the yolk, i add 1/2 tablespoon of mayo, oregano or thyme, paprika and pepper. I also add bits of real bacon ( not bacon bits, which are made of soy) or bits of sausage leftover from a barbecue. I do not add salt because the bacon/sausage is enough.

I scoop this filling back in the hole of the egg. I prefer it room temperature rather than cold. yummyyyyy

I find this recipe is great because you have plenty of protein and hardly any carbs, and moderate fat... great!

Default Simple Deviled Eggs

I eat these all the time.

Plain old fashioned deviled eggs:

- Hard Boiled Eggs
-Full Fat Mayo
-Splenda

(and sometimes I add some smoked salmon)

Most of the time I just eat plain egg salad to ditch the splenda.

1+ Cups of lettuce, add 2 mashed hard boiled eggs and add real mayo!

My bf tried to make them for me and it was gross though I really appreciate him trying. I think it's because he used curry in it and I hate curry. He tried it later and said they were the most disgusting Deviled Eggs he's ever had so I wasn't just being a b*tch.

So I'm guessing usually people use paprika and mayo at the very least in theirs? I want to make them myself this weekend. I'm not a big fan of bacon or sausage and I almost never use pepper.

My DH made the most divine deviled eggs this weekend! We had been in a deviled egg rut making the usual type and so we tried this and WOW they are wonderful! We will be making these again tomorrow (we ate them so quickly the first time!) about .5 carb/egg halve

12 hard boiled eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons butter; softened
1 packet splenda
salt and pepper
1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach; thawed and drained
4 bacon strips; cooked and crumbled

Just split the egg, take out the yolks and mix everything together and put it back in and voila! I cannot say enough good things about these eggs!!

Curry Eggs

3 eggs
1/2 - 3/4 tsp curry
mayo to moisten
1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
salt
pepper
a little bit of dill pickle relish

Salmon and Cream Cheese Eggs
Makes 6 servings, .5g carb, 4.4g protein

6 eggs
1/4 C salmon, drained and boned (smoked works as well)
1/4 C cream cheese, softened
1/4 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper, to taste

Mix the yolks with remaining ingredients then stuff the egg whites. They are personally very good.
