It's cool! The chat button is on the bottom of the main forum page .. I am wondering if that is why many people don't chat cause they don't know it's there

Nice to see so many Southern Californias. I had started the other So Cal thread and sorta dropped the ball on it. I would be interested in getting together if there is a plan for that. I am in Costa Mesa (but may be moving to Tustin). Are there actual plans for a get together? Or just talk at this point. I'll try to be more in touch with the forum. Thanks!!

Hi Kmagee We are in the process of setting up a day and time. June was to busy for most of us, so we were looking at July. I'm pretty open for July if anyone would like to make a suggestion on the day.

We are also trying to put together, a little get together over coffee, tea etc. Would you be up for that?

Sounds good - July is less crazy than June. Love Irvine Park. Is this a bring-the-family-and-kids sort of event? I'll keep checking in.

p.s. not that this is revolving around my schedule or anything but...I will be gone the last weekend in July (25-27). Taking the 3 day cruise to Ensenada for Hubby's 40th bday!

Thanks Luna, maybe that will bring some people over, but I wouldn't want to get this group to large, my intentions when starting this thread was to have a managable size group so we can meet and get to know each other, and the other thing to take into consideration is for every 5 people that are on this thread they probably have a significant other that they will be bringing to the bbq's and other gatherings, So now it becomes 10 + people to feed which could become costly. Just something to keep in mind.

You are welcome to bring anyone who wants to come, the food will be low carb, so if the kids don't mind that, it's ok by me.

Oh my gosh I've been thinking about a cruise to Mexico, you have to tell me how it was, I have never been on a cruise before and have beening dying to go. How are you going to deal with all the delicious food they have on cruises, or will you go off low carbing for those days?

Ok I'm gonna throw out a date and time how about July 12th ~ 11am.
