My husband is low carbing with me, it was hard for both of us cause we LOVE Mexican food. But we are learning to live without it. Although we do eat the low carb tortilla's and make fajitas, yum, just not rice or beans.

We just went back on induction to help speed up our weightloss for the summer. I've lost about 25pds so far since last November but I had trouble during the holidays so when on and off but have been very good since April.

Yes try to get that other lady to sign up too on the board.

Meanwhile I'll keep scoping out low carbers for our little group.
PEOPLE, come join our group!

Hi everybody, see I knew you were all out there somewhere.

Ok then to plan a bbq I will need to know some things. Is everyone doing induction? If so how strict are you being. Do you drink alcohol, do you drink anything with caffiene, do you eat food with Splenda. This information will help with planning a menu.

Unhappy

I don't really work out but I do walk. I would like to walk more regularly if that is something you would like to do. I began walking before I bacame a LCer and lost 5 lbs before doing Atkins.
I beleive that I have osteoarthritus and walking took away the pain in my knees. I banged my knees alot when I was a kid and now I am paying for that. Would you be interested in walking? I usually walk at the sports park by Tustin Elementary School. Also, there is a gym in my apartment complex, would you like to join me there. In August I will be moving to Orange near the Main Place Mall.

Laural,

I eat things with splenda and/or sugar alcohols. I drink leaded coffee and I have an occasional glass of wine but I would prefer water. I am doing OWL . I can't think of anything else that you might want to know. Where do you plan to have the barbecue?
Do you need me to bring anything?

There is no rush. Life changes daily. Check your schedule and we'll keep in touch. I am a music teacher at Tustin Music Center and I am an educational assistant in the music department in the IUSD. What do you do?
