The Think Thin bars really are awesome. The best ones we have tried so far and the only brand my wife and I eat.

In our stores they run about $2.00-2.50 (US), but you can order them by the case and stock up. Always good to have around for a breakfast on the run. I can do 1/2 a bar for breakfast on a work day.

Anyway, they run specials on a regular basis, if you buy 6 cases you will get another one free! A bit of an expense all at once, but the cost comes to about $1.70 per bar including shipping. they are running that special right now as a matter of fact (6/5/03).

That is for the Atkins bars, right? I did not see any of the Think Thin products on that site.

It depends on which flavor you get-the chocolate chip is exactly like a quaker chewy granola bar, the apple is similar but is coated in white chocolate, the blueberry muffin is like an undercooked muffin, like cookie dough (it's great)

the only one i don't really like is the cinnamon. They aren't tough to chew like the advantage bars. I've pretty much switched over to the morning start bars for everything.

Question Has anyone tried these?

I came across an Atkins product the other day that looked good but I didn't buy it. It was Morning Star breakfast bars. They had a chocolate chip that looked good. I just thought this might be good for mornings when I don't have time to fix eggs. Anyone try these bars?
Thanks,
Cindy

I can find the cinnamon bun bars at WalMart and they are not the real thing, but a decent, quick, and easy substitute. I'll sometimes have one and a hard boiled egg for a quick breakfast. I also found the apple crisp bars at a health food store, and those aren't bad either. I have been looking for the chocolate chip bars but haven't found them yet. Too bad.

But -- not everyone's taste buds are the same! What one person thinks is good another thinks is yuk!

Have tries one and didn't like it. I ordered one after reading rave reviews on this site but didn't like the feel of the cereal part in my mouth, it seemed a bit like bird seed ( not that I eat much bird seed).
Definitely a case of YMMV.

I have tried three types. The cinnamon I did not care for at all. The blueberry is ok. The Apple is my favorite. The only one I would buy again would be the apple.

I have tried the apple and the cinnamon ones.......I don't care for the apple, but I think the cinnamon one is delicious with a cup of black coffee.........OBVIOUSLY a YMMV situation, LOL!!!
