What part of the flax seed contains the fiber? I tried making a flax muffin after sifting the ground flax to remove the shells and I really enjoyed the texture of it. After I ate it I realized that the shell was probably where all the fiber was so it was most likely pretty high in carbs. I’ve tried to look it up online but haven’t been able to find anything.
It's the inside that has all the omegas I believe, I believe the outside has the most fiber but you will still get it if you ground it and it won't past through you as just fiber, you will get the other benefits too. I learned this yesterday on a youtube video about flax seeds because I just bought some and made muffins too!
