Note: Worked out ~ 5:00 PM Sunday, not the time marked.
As usual, Monday is an off-day.

I don't think I'm going to combine a one hour run with lifting weights again in the same day. I was wiped from the start of this session. I guess I'm getting old. It's taking longer to recover from things.

(1) Bench Press Barbell 3x15

Did it, but it was tough. Ugh. Third set was a mess.

(2) Flye Curls Dumbells 3x15

did it, and basically did okay.

(3) Bent Over Row Barbell 3x20

Third set was rough.

(4) Shoulder Shrugs Dumbells 3x40

Too easy.

(5) Military Press Dumbell 3x15

First day at 3x15. Did surprisingly well.

(6) Triceps Curls Dumbell- 3x20

tough time with third set.

(7) Biceps Curls Dumbell- 3x12

First time at 3x12. Tough, but I got through it, even with my right arm.

(8) Wrist Curls Barbell 3x25

Too easy, but not as easy as the shrugs.

(9) Crunches N/A 4x100

Got through it okay, but it was no walk in the park.

42:08 jog-cul-de-sac. The usual 4 loops.

Tonight is a weights night.

Not such a good weights session last night. Had a very difficult time with the 3rd set of the bent over row. Don't think I cheated precisely, but I was straining. Did cheat on the arm curls, especially during the 3rd set. Literally could NOT get the 12th rep up.

I guess everything else was okay, but I'm not progressing like I'd hoped to. I am having no trouble doing 3 x 15 with the military press, which had always given me trouble in the past. Go figure.

43:24 around cul-de-sac this AM. Have lost the digital watch I usually use to time my joggging. It's got to be around here someplace...

That's it for today.

54:10 at park. Went off on a slightly different route than usual. It was full of standing water and mud on the trails. (Out by the powerlines) Ugh. Was very tired from the get-go.

Weather was calm, clear and cold. 35 F. Just the way I like it for jogging.

Not doing weights today. We leave to travel in 1/2 an hour. Will have to make it Friday/Sunday, like last week.

Yesterday: Did 44:33 on trails. Avoided most hills, went out main trail, by lake, by old mill, short loop.

Weights: Did it in late afternoon. Bought a new bench, candidly may take some time to figure this thing out. Decent on all excersises. New bench has attachment for Flye curls. Thing you rest barbell on for bench press forces me to keep my hands far apart, not sure if this is a good thing or not.

Run at park this morning 1:03:40.

Took dog to lake, b/c he was muddy. All the way to the back, loop around lake across bridge at other side of park, looped back to lake and let him go in.

Weights tonight.

43:06, 4 laps around neighborhood. Its getting cold in the morning. But, it was also clear and crisp.

Missed my first weight workout without a good reason this weekend. Need to do better in that department.
