I am not a Bruin, but I am an Anteater. It's all about UCI. Although some people say all of the UC's are like brothers and should support each other, I always go for USC.

Elementary education seems like a cool major. I guess you can expect to study a combination of child development and psychology. I am actually thinking about getting a minor in psych since I found the intro class so interesting. It seems like you are leaning towards doing something with children, maybe a teacher?

By the way, welcome Rachel. Turning 21 is going to be a big day!

You should have no problem losing 10 lbs by April. Then you can legally drink and won't have X's on your hands!

That's good you went grocery shopping. When I first started, I wondered if there were any special low carb stores and found one that was a short drive away. I’ve never actually gone, but if I want low carb products I know where to get them. As for normal shopping, I always make sure to get chicken, meats, eggs, and water. For snacks, I suggest you get some Breyer’s carb smart ice-cream bars. Tastes like a crunch ice cream bar and it’s only 5 net carbs. Good luck on getting started.
