Default hi!

(i also posted this in the introduce yourself section)

wow i searched for a while looking for a low carb forum that had a place for students...it surprises me that i've never before considered an online form of support for this atkins stuff.
ok so about me and why i joined: i'm convinced that lowering my carbs is what's going to help me lose the weight i want to, more than anything else, because i haven't ever really done anything as strictly as i should and i lost nearly a dress size in the month before school started up again...of course, now that i'm on campus again and eating from my dining plan, i've gained some of that back...basically i don't expect myself to be able to stay on atkins the way many adults can, because i live in a dorm and have such a crazy schedule from day to day, but i think i really need to find a group of people who know what i'm going through. there aren't a lot of people at my college who actually care about the healthy side of losing weight, in fact, i think we have a 40% rate of eating disorders with women by the time they graduate. not good. anyway, i'm pretty much rambling now, but that's basically where i'm at right now.

i'm a 16/18 right now. my mini goal is to be securely in a size 16 by the end of christmas break. my short term goal is to be a 14 by summer break. my long term goal is to stay at a healthy size 10/12.

Hi!!

Do you have a microwave in your dorm??

I'm not a student or anything but If you have a microwave one of the best things I like and Your friends will probably like is those Slices of Pepperoni cooked in the microwave for about a minute to make them crisp. Great crunchy snack!!
