Default A silly milestone

This may be crazy, but I've had two great (for me) milestones.

One: I see better health. This is the first time in years that I didn't spend two days in constant pain with PMS cramps befreo my TOM. TOM was midly uncomfortable, but I didn't have the cramps for the first time ever since I was a teen (20 years ago).

Two: Something fits. I bought a skirt on ebay over a year ago. It was a size 16, and I was still pretending to myself that I was a size 16. Well, it was on the smaller side for 16s,a nd I was on the way bigger side for 16s, and even unzipped, I couldn't get it over my fat ~$$. So, I shoved it in the back of my closet and forced myself to forget about it. I stumbled on it today, pulled it out, and voila, it fits. So, I am wearing it. And I look pretty cute in it, too.

What a nice feeling.

hehehe, I hear you about squeezing into jeans, that's me right now but I'm close to getting in them comfortably so I can't see going to buy new ones. I think that's great you are feeling better and fitting into clothes in the back of your closet faduckeggs. I have a lot of those clothes shoved to the back of my closet.

hey congrats to you!

Last night I went to a play with a friend - I haven't worn anything but casual capris, jeans and sweats for the last 4 years.... I was desperate for something a little nicer to wear last night, so I dug up this pair of khakis... I had some muffin top, but no camel toe (sorry,!!!)... woo hoo!!! I had to wear my blouse outside of the pants, but hey! Even my mean 13 year old told me I looked slimmer!

Not a silly milestone at all and something to be happy and very proud about for sure! I am the queen of pants stories. LOL I am so tickled when I can fit into something again, especially those things that I haven't been able to wear since last fall or even last summer. I'm really psyched about it.

I can't wait to get into the things in the back of my closet too but that will be awhile. I never throw anything out until it's in tatters. LOL I have jeans and other items from before my pregnancy with twins 17 years ago. I can't wait and it's a major goal for me!
