Default LC Shopping in Vancouver

Hey everyone Hope you're having a great day and enjoying the sunshine!
I'm just wondering if there is a health food store in Vancouver that sells the Atkins line of products or something similar...I've heard about the pankcake mix and I'm dying to try it. The only Atkins products I've found here so far are the Atkins bars, which I really don't like.
Any Vancouverites have some suggestions for me?
Thanks Hugs
Marie

Have a look down the main Canada forum page, there's at least two posts discussing LowCarb shopping or stores in the Vancouver area! Should be just the information you need.

Most die-hard natural foods stores do not sell Atkins products because they're full of nasty ingredients. Conversely, natural food stores sell sugar - evaporated cane juice, succanat etc, - so go figure.

You're two best bets would be the recently opened Low Carb Center in North Vancouver or a GNC.

You can also take a little trip to Bellingham to get Atkins products as well as DaVinci syrups.

There's an entire store devoted to Low Carbing in North Van?!!! I don't drive, so Bellingham is out unless I happen to go down with friends. But North Van would be perfect. Do they have DaVinci syrups as well? Low Carb Centre... is it in the phone book? I'm going to look it up right now. Thanks for the info!

I haven't been there but I hear it's quite comprehensive. Here's the info:
You may want to call before you go to make sure they have what you're looking for.

The Low Carb Centre only has the Atkins bars, nothing else from his product line. It does have things like pancake mix, etc - but they are expensive. Another option is www.thelowcarbbaker.com - selling all kinds of baked products like bread, cookies, pasta, pizza dough, you name it. Again, expensive, but it looks pretty good.

There's a group of Vancouverites planning a trip to Bellingham in the near future. Maybe you can go along?

YAY - "Choices" are now selling Fernando's Functional Foods (I think that's the right name) they have bread, bake mix and pancake mix yum yum yum! I'd love to hear some opinions on these products as they're almost too good to be true!
