Thanks for the comps on the new 'tar gals!

I let this week get shot to shit by Hurricane Ivan. Worked out Monday and then was going to do my other workouts Thur. and Fri. but then the childrens school shut down both days for the storm.

Anyway, I decided to just take the rest of the week off from weightlifting AND dieting.

So, I'm on a long "cheat" weekend! Ought to be just grand for "resetting" my metabolism, damn sure ought to help put a few more pounds on so I can lose them all over again, hehe.

Two steps forward, one step back......the story of my weight-loss and body building life!

Yep, starting to hurt me today, if I take any time off, legs AWAYS hurt with DOMS when resuming.

it is strange, I have been doing reps of 3 and 4 with heavy weights...I did 8 reps on Sunday and they killed me....I guess there is something to be said for switching up the reps every once in awhile.

Ok, MAJOR DOMS today in legs! The kind where I let an audible little OUCH! slip every step or two. And loud moans and groans when I go up and DOWN stairs or have to pick something up off the floor!

Had to work this morning, so just sucked it up, unless you looked close at my facial expressions, hehe.

Ooooooh! Honey! I've got this in my lower back right now from doing lactic acid sets of deadlifts - next time, I'm doing seated cable rows.
Who'da thunk that doing 72 deadlifts within 5 minutes could cause such lasting discomfort...

Fortunately, my calves are still so sore, it distracts me a bit from my back.

Currently, walking annoys my calves, and sitting annoys my back. Lying down's okay, though.

DON'T SAY IT!
