I am in my 7th week of Atkins and I have had diarrhea off and on during that time, but now it seems to be getting worse. Does anyone else have this problem? If so is it curable, please help?
You don't mention how much veggie you are eating and which types, but lack of fiber comes to mind. Adding psyllium husks or psyllium husk capsules is a good way to help by adding more bulk.
Is it possible that you are eating something that your body is sensitive to (dairy and eggs are big culprits for that)?

Hi dietmom,
Are you sticking to natural foods or are you eating the bars, shakes, etc? Anything with sugar alcohols have a negative affect on my digestive system (major case of the s**ts).

Are you drinking any, or have you increased your consumption of diet drinks? A lot of people aren't aware that diet drinks (diet soda especially) can cause diarrhea. Whenever I drink too much diet pop it upsets my colon.
I had D. for a few weeks, too, and discovered it was from my magnesium supplement. I've now learned (thru trial and error) how much to take to balance the D with constipation. If you're taking supplements, something in there may be the culprit. I was taking cal/mag (2:1 ratio) 3 x per day and it was too much mag.
