How protein protects against fatty liver

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releas...00818103815.htm

Quote:
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is the most common chronic liver disease in the world, with sometimes life-threatening consequences. A high-protein, calorie-reduced diet can cause the harmful liver fat to melt away -- more effectively than a low-protein diet. This is a great article, Demi.
I have posted it on Twitter where it might get a view or 2 (I don't have that many followers)

Study fits with another study which didnot change calorie intake (both groups ate the same number of calories).

Fatty liver decreased in low carb group but no change in low fat group. Im simplifying the food intake here, as study detailed the amt of fat, carbs and protein for both groups.
