I often wonder what would happen if some doctor decided to study me. I started Atkins in 1972. True, I haven't stuck to plan always because this is a hard path, but I'm in excellent health at 73. No CHD or any other diseases and still walk 3 miles every morning. I can even run.
IMO, you've chosen the best way to eat for your body. Stick with it and you might live forever!

My sentiments exactly. There are still those who claim the earth is flat, and some in the medical profession are usually the last holdouts as they are more worried about reversing themselves, admitting they were wrong, and losing their credibility. Some, however, can step up and face the facts when the evidence is available. I'm hearing more people discussing low carb, Paleo, keto, Whole 30, and other lifestyle approaches that do not discourage healthy fat consumption and minimize carb consumption to achieve improved health. It's becoming a thing . . .
