Hey there,

I'm in Vancouver and last week had my cholesterol results back. First time I'd ever had the test, and my doctor has sent me to be retested as it was really high. It was 9.something...........

I was shocked to learn it was high - I expected the battery of tests he'd sent me on to show I was dying of cancer and heart disease never factored into my over active imagination.

I'm going to be open with him about my diet next time we meet and am hoping that he is willing to work with me as that was the only result that came back skewed. I'm also unsure of the breakdown as he didn't give me much time as he was rushed too.

But - in the interest of a plan B, is there anyone in Vancouver who has a doctor in support of their LC lifestyle who I could get a 2nd opinion from??
