Hi kaypeeoh,

The Atkins' diet is literally the cure for Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Additional restrictions may be required, especially with Candida yeast infections. Check out my web page at:

To avoid confusion... I was under the distinct impression that IBS referrred only to irritable bowel syndrome( which has no inflammation...and I suffer from) and IBD refferred to Inflammatory bowel disease( Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis etc... which coincendently my partner suffers from) anyone have any comments?

Cool! Just didn't want to be getting to mixed up.... inflammation vs non-inflamed can be a contentious subject in my house!
