Default Amount of food with meds?

I have a question about taking food with medications. I have to take NSAIDS and some other strong meds. I have GERD and so I always need to eat food anytime I take medication. I'm thinking I may be eating too much but I'm also afraid of what the meds will do to my stomach if I don't. So how much/little food do you eat with your meds?

It depends on the med really. I would take them with a meal if they're very likely to upset my stomach. Otherwise maybe a light snack or even a Tbl of peanut butter.
