Default Does anyone use Guggul?

and have you had any success with it? I read it should be a natural extract as opposed to guggulsterones. Anyone? Anything?

If you could tell me who makes it, I will go out and buy some today! Then I will tell you. I have been looking for it for a long time.

I've tried guggul. One thing I found is how peddlers of one brand like to slag peddlers of other brands. Supposedly the red gum is better than the yellow powder. Can't say I noticed any thyroid boost either way (using the thermometer technique). Atkins Accell also has guggul, but I haven't tried it.

Thanks, I checked the links. Informative.
I read here
that it shouldn't be the yellow powder (2.5% guggulsterones) but rather something that looks like wet tobacco which is pure and much more potent for thyroid activity. That's how I interpreted it anyway. I have looked but have failed to find something other than the 2.5% stuff.

I found this one while looking for something else. It seems to be described the way it is in the article I had referred to before...let me know how it turns out.
