You guys are so great. you know all your support, thoughts, suggestions have been a tremendous help over the past week.

You helped me shift into a new perception and to actually tuck my shirts in! I am able to look at those pictures for the first time this morning and truly "love" how I am looking more than hating the flab rolls. Very happy!

Again thanks so much everyone, you are truly a blessing in my life

I have to come back and again express my heartfelt gratitude for those who responded to this thread.

I am on my 3rd week of wearing a belt and tucking in my shirt. And wearing my Kohls bought clothes (size 16 M pants). Being able to dry them with no issues.

And I am on my 3rd week of having my confidence sky rocket. Walking around being proud of myself and my body.

And actually seeing my self as "slender" and just being utterly amazed that I am 13.25 pounds less than my wedding weight almost 16 years ago.

This thread helped alot, I can't thank you enough for the encouragement to toss my clothes and to wear more form fitting clothes! For the suggestions and ideas about types of clothing. And for the introspective look emotionally that was offered.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! For you love and support

Angela,
You are so very welcome but this thread is what support groups are all about! I think that being part of on-line support group forum is why I have kept (most) of the weight off going on four years this time and never before. And I trust that it got you through some of your rough patches this year.

You are one of many amazing success stories here who had to overcome so many health obstacles, we are rooting for you every day. It is so wonderful to see you so happy in your new body. Your journal when you started shows how far you have travelled emotionally in one year.
One year on the 25th! Time for a milestone update and yours will be an inspiration to all. You should write to Dr Bernstein too, he would be touched to know another person benefited so greatly from his life's work.

Hey Janet, I wish there was milestone updates to report. But I am in the last 3 weeks not loosing all that much. A total of .5 pounds in 3 weeks is all...

But that is okay, I am not gaining and as long as I am not hungry which TOM pre stuff isn't due for another 5 days or so...

I did post one time at Dr. B's site when I lost over 100 pounds.

When I am done loosing, hopefully he will still be around seeing patients. As I like to personally visit him and thank him for his help. New York is close enough...

Oh, how beautiful! You look so healthy and happy, Angela!
What a transformation in such a short time.
Yeah, weight loss slows as you get nearer to goal? Sometimes the body just needs to take breather and regroup, not always a bad thing as it allows time for the skin to adjust (remember dry brushing! and moisturizing). And you are still losing...congrats! Btw, your DH took a great photo
