They were probably talking about the faux mashed potatoes made with cauliflower. There are a few different ways to make them and you can search for them in the recipe section of this forum. Other than that all I can think of are the Keto brand and I've heard awful things about them.

The fake mashed potatoes are usually made with steamed cualiflower (frozen or fresh). Just cook until soft (microwave or steamer or in a pot of water on the stove). Then puree in a blender, food processor, or mixer. I just add butter and a little cream. Some people like to add cream cheese and seasonings like chives. Try searching under faux potatoes or pureed cauliflower on this site or on google. They are really amazingly like mashed potatoes. Karen's Cauliflied Rice on this site is awsome as well (another amazing use for the cauliflower).
