Default Diet Doctor Podcasts

Maybe this has been mentioned before, but dietdoctor.com has free podcasts.

Get the iPhone podcast app if you don’t have it, search on “diet doctor.” There are 27 podcasts with people like Fung, Taubes, Attia, Teicholz, etc.

I also think it is the best LC podcast out there now. Dr. Scher had his own before, The LC Cardiologist, so he came to podcast interviewing well experienced. The archive for that one is good too.

The other new one that is getting better as the interviewers get more experience is The LCMD Podcast. Dr. Tro and Dr. Lenkes. The recent podcast with Dr. Cywes was great. http://www.lowcarbmd.com

I started a thread on favorite podcasts a while ago, some old ones dropped, but add new when I remember. If you want to explore Carnivore, also Human Performance Outliers and Nerd alert for High Intensity Health.

I love the DD and LCMD podcasts. I feel like I'm finally getting my money's worth out of my DD membership, and I'm throwing a few bucks through Patreon at the LCMD docs. They're my new way of settling myself down at night - I work a ridiculously early morning shift and it can be hard to get myself to bed when the sun's still up and kids are playing outside my window.

...not to say that they put me to sleep.

I've been following the IDM podcast with Dr. Fung. It's like they are creating a podcast group this way, and they can keep a consistent schedule.

I had a podcast, and it was a limited run kind. I can just imagine something more often for longer!

In a Purrfect World with Way of Cats

So I know what a challenge it is to have interesting content and editing out the mistakes, etc. Having everyone join forces is a great idea.

I've been listening to the LCMD podcasts. Just finished them all! Their interview style is not quite as polished, but the information is great and the guests so varied. Lots of food for thought and new low carb/keto clinicians to start following!

Starting on the Obesity Code and Fat Emperor podcasts now.

I hate podcasts but it's nice to know there are there for people who like that sort of thing. For me, give me something to READ.

Many podcasts also offer the Transcript, including DietDoctor. I will read that first for guests I have already heard many times, to see if new discussions worth listening. Reading is definitely faster, but I mostly listen on walks, while exercising or driving...only Times I can’t read anyway.

good to know since I don’t do podcasts. I prefer reading. Plus when I did set up a podcast app on my phone a couple times it totally screwed up my car radio. As soon as I would get into my car and turn it on it would start playing the podcast! I would kill the app on my phone but the podcast would keep playing. I would kill Bluetooth and then the podcast stopped but I use Bluetooth for other things and as soon as I turned it back on the podcast would start up again. I would turn off Bluetooth again, but if I stopped the car but then later turned it back on BOOM the podcast would start playing again. They only way I found to stop it was to delete the podcast app from my phone so off it stays!
