With CALP, we strive towards balance including both protein and vegetables in our CMs. If I have an omelet, I will normally include cheese, eggs, meat, mushrooms, & a vegetable. I don't worry too much about balance because that is a protein powered meal that will keep me satisfied for hours!
As a matter of fact, I ate a large omelet with potatoes yesterday around noon, similar to what I described earlier and was not hungry for dinner last night!
We are all individuals that need to find what works for us!
