hi..the only area I am aware of that mentions a carb count, is the section for vegetarians re their cms (complimentary meals).
The list of cm foods does not give a quantity (or carb count), saying just to choose average size portions, and talks most about balance - including protein as well as cm veggies, in your cm's.
I would, if hungry, eat 2 cups of green beans..and did yesterday
with a boiled chicken breast - it was my first cm meal of the day, eaten around lunchtime, and I was hungry!
(I began day with just coffee and 2 oz. half and half).
Most important is to just pay attention to how your body reacts to what you are eating. Some cm veggies are asterisked, because for some folks, they can cause cravings (i.e. broccoli).
On calp you don't need to be reading labels for carb counts
I know I need to re-read the book (been a few years, I tend to just got to a particular section for a refresher), but I truly do not think you need to be worrying about carb count or measuring veggie amounts (except at rm where, as I am bad at doing sometimes, you need to start meal with salad or at least 1 cup extra of cm veggie).
