Welcome back! I've heard it said recently that it's not the falling down but rather the getting back up that matters. So true.

My 2cents: I can't even remember how many times I've been off and on plan, how many pounds I've lost, regained and lost again. This is a hard path to stay on, especially psychologically. This time, resolve to forgive yourself every time. Forgive yourself for being human. If we were perfect, we wouldn't be human at all. It's in our nature to rebel.

This place is the reason to be here. We make our own rules for ourselves. We choose our own plans and we choose to support each other. It's easier to forgive others than ourselves, right?

Welcome back. No crawling allowed. We all soar.

One of the best things about stepping away from low carb is that when you get back into it, you've already learned valuable lessons that can be applied now. Doesn't matter what happened yesterday or at any other time. The fact that you can now apply what you know is powerful. Enjoy the journey!

Me too! Only I'm striding back, not crawling! Forgive yourself and move on.

C’mon back!!
Glad to see both you and Nancy LC...So glad you’re here.

I read through the old threads for support, community, advice and experience and you both have provided so much of that to me in the last 2 years (whether you know it or not!)

It’s brave to to come back, and also...

Thank you for encouragement. Off to read more. Trying to stay in tune with feelings, eat what I know stabilises me and doesn't set me on a food hunt.

Cool

This is my 3rd go around and last. If I can come back at 71 you sure can. I see you are not far from your goal. Quitting and coming back seems to kick things in gear for me.

I'm back too. Many life's ups and downs later, I'm 51 and tired of being fat, tired and cranky. Fifth day in and 8 pounds down is a good start! I figured the holiday season is a good time to start up to at least avoid the 10 pound gain!

I jumped off the horse 5 years ago after we were married. I gained 3-4 kg, then I got back on that horse. I lost the weight I wanted to, and a bit more when I quit drinking alcohol in 2016. Maintaining at 133-135 lb.
