Lightbulb Daily Menu Thread, Thurs 11/15

Let's keep the support going!!!

I got some great ideas from yesterday's posts!!!

Post your menus here! Enter either what you ate yesterday or what you plan to eat today. Please let's give newbies and oldbies some good "food for thought" and ideas.

Let's help each other out! Don't keep your good ideas to yourself!

me:

Plan: Atkins
Phase: Post Induction
Variation: 5-6 small meals throughout the day to keep insulin stable and keep metabolism up. Also, I try to eat the bulk of my carbs in the a.m.

Meal One: LoCarb pancake made with 3/4 scoop of Carbolite Zero Carb bake mix and 1/4 scoop Atkins pancake and waffle mix topped with Carbolite zero carb pancake syrup

Meal Two: Flax O Meal - high fiber, low carb cereal. with Splenda, butter and dash of cream. (very filling!!!)

Meal Three: chicken breast on a bed of green beans

Meal Four: small ham burger topped with cheese

Meal Five: hard boiled egg and 2 slices of turkey

Meal Six: 2 eggs scrambled and 1 sausage link

Plan: Protein Power

(I'm lazy today. Well, cooking lazy, anyway.)

Breakfast: 4 slices bacon

Late morning: Keto shake

Early afternoon: eggplant, cubed and fried, then smothered with shredded mozarella

there's a small beef roast in the crockpost. Of course, I forgot to put it in until 11:00, so dinner will be by moonlight

WATER (6 glasses so far)

Talking Clean out the fridge day menu plan

I had to get rid of leftovers and some cottage cheese that was nearing expiry:

Breakfast
3 oz cottage cheese with salt, pepper and chives
3 oz smoked salmon and sliced hardboiled egg on 2 FinnCrisp crackers
37.3 Protein, 10.6 carbs

Lunch
5 oz cottage cheese with salt, pepper and chives
12 pork rinds
32 Protein, 7 carbs

Dinner
Roasted chicken breast with skin
brussels sprouts with butter
57.2 Protein, 4.3 carbs

Snacks
1 celery stick with cream cheese
Sugar free jello with hand made whipped cream
4.5 Protein, 5.7 Carbs

Daily total
Calories 1252
Protein 131
Carbs 27.6
Plus a fridge cleaned of leftovers

This meal plan needs more calories in it and I wam really wrestling with that.

Sounds yummy and might be an idea to help boost up my calories!!!!

If I add a slice of swiss cheese or two to a snack, or melted on the brussel sprouts, that will give me 100 more each slice!

***scooting back from reading the swiss cheese package*** Yup 100 cal per slice. This will be an easy and non filling way to get closer to the calories I should be at.

Thanks for the nifty idea

You're welcome Since the eggplant was fried in olive oil before being smothered, it's probably quite high in calories. Thanks for joining in the Great Menu Post, Angela
