Anyhow, at the moment it doesn't look like getting together is doable for me this week. Shall we try for early May? Surely I'll be over this by then!!!!

I feel your pain, having both antibiltics and an inhaler (oh and cold medicine and cough syrup).... I've been off an inhaler for 17 years and I need one again.

Sadly, I am still having to be at work because my boss leaves on vacation tomorrow and I need his help with stuff before he goes.

May will be a healthier month!

Oh Julie, it had better be! I can't even imagine being off an inhaler for 17 years! I'm on two at the moment, and I've been abusing the hell out of the rescue one for the duration, I might add with my doctor's blessing! Open airways are priority one!! I keep wondering if it's "swine" flu, but when you've got chronic bronchitis, ANY flu fits the same description ... shortness of breath is automatic!!!

Once this bout is over, my doc wants me to go for a lung function test ... he suspects I'll fail which will put me in line for more powerful inhalers. 'bout time I say!!!! He SAYS my 35 years of smoking didn't cause this, but he also admits it certainly didn't help!

Sorry ladies, I didn't mean to start whining! I WILL feel better, and I WILL NOT whine anymore!!!!

hugs all ....

I had an inhaler when I lived in Vancouver - allergies and acute stress!

As soon as I moved back (dumped the BF - meaning the stress)the allergies stopped too. No idea why but I didn't need meds any more. And I haven't since living in Victoria again.

Doc says I only need it until I stop coughing again.

I'm almost back to the land of the living. Or is that the cold meds typing?

I am getting my new roof today! Yeah!!!!
