Default Easy cabbage side (Induction suitable), pic

That's really easy and really good. Carb counts are 5,14 carbs and 1,95 fiber per 1/6 of the recipe.

You will need:
5 cups cabbage, shredded
1 cup green pepper, sliced
1 cup tomatoes, cut into chunks
2 T olive oil (or any kind)
salt, white pepper, anything else to your preference

Heat oil in a large skillet or pan, sautee the peppers until brown and slightly soft. Add the cabbage and the tomatoes, stir and lower the heat. Season with a 2-3 heavy pinches of salt, some white pepper and other seasonings to taste. Cover and cook about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
(You may add some canned or fresh chiles to spice it up. Or a dollop of sour cream to make it, well, creamy. Some chopped parsley and\or garlic, some crumbled bacon, whatever.)

Makes 6 side dish servings (about half a cup). Serve with sausage or pork chops.

Yum. I adore cabbage. Thanks for this. It sounds a bit similar to something I make with cabbage, onion, bacon, cheese and garlic. Soooo good yet quick and simple.
