Default Excercise

Hello,

I am new to the board, and have a couple questions

1) I am on the carb diet again after being successful, and would Like to know if there is a excercise that goes well with the carb diet to burn fat BESIDES running?

Sit ups? I just want to lose weight around my stomach and chest area. What is the next most effective thing I can do?

Hi Stang ...

To reduce fat deposits on the body, you have to use a combination approach of diet, cardio work, and resistance training.

There is no such thing as spot reduction of a specific area, as your body will use its stored fat in whatever way/fashion it sees fit (different ways for each person).

Having said that, there is a good program for beginners that I have put together at the top of the exercise forum that will answer many questions that you might have, as well as giove you a sample program to start with.
