Why not just do regular Atkin's induction for two weeks. Use regular foods, no fake foods or artificial sweetners. Drink your water, make sure your calories are at least 10-12 times your current body weight, and get 20 grams of carbs from leafy green vegetables. It really works if you give it a try. Use butter and olive oil to get your calories up. Sometimes, people need to tweak the plan like eliminating dairy, if they haven't had any progress, or as much progress as they'd like. After all, you are not in a stall unless you haven't lost pounds or inches for 6 weeks. Sometimes, a person will lose some pounds for the first few weeks and then seem to maintain, or even go up slightly. This is normal. The decent amounts of protein their body is finally getting can build muscle, and while their weight may stay the same or even go up, they get smaller in inches. Atkins is effective, but it is not a miracle cure where you will lose quickly and at a steady pace. Women particularly lose in a step-wise fashion, where they maintain between each step of loss.

When I started to worry if I would lose any weight for a week, I would eat induction Monday through Friday, do a tentative weigh on Friday (because I wrote it down on Mondays), and if it seemed as though I hadn't lost anything yet, I spent the weekend drinking extra water and eating mostly meat and salad. By Monday, I would be down a pound or two.

Holey Moley!

Take Elihnig's advice. Low-carbing is not a quick weight loss "diet". It takes time to learn, and in taking the time, it becomes a way of life.

Low-carbing teaches you how to eat properly and maintain your weight for life. In doing it quickly, you miss the opportunity to develop the good habits that will take you comfortably through loss to maintaining.
