Hi Nancy, my dietician called me this morning just to see how I was doing and to remind me that next week we have an appointment. I have been writing down everything I've been eating as well as testing my blood sugar. She said she researched Dr. Bernstein's diet and found out that low carbing reduces inflammation which I didn't see as important. But she says this reduction reduces pain in joints, which I have experienced a sudden lack of pain. (soooo thankful for that) and I feel... stronger?! more energy. Also missing from me is the stuffy ears, asthma and lung congestion. She thinks its the reduction of inflammation. Hmmm makes you think doesn't it.
