I have always adored vegetables! If you want to burn fat and/or avoid storing fuel as fat, you need the "phytoceuticals" that vegetables have. In other words, they are medicines. The more different colors of vegetables you eat, the more different good medicines you add to your body.

I use celery instead of crackers, and fill stalks with anything from neufchatel cheese to tuna or chicken salad.

Perhaps you can play a game with yourself -- see how many different colors of vegetables you can get in one salad! Green spinach, Beige mushrooms, Yellow peppers, Red radishes, White jicama, Purple cabbage.

Or, try to incorporate one new vegetable to your menu every week -- have you tried jicama? How about squash blossoms?

Can you tell that I love to try all sorts of strange foods?

Im not a fan of veggies myself, but lately Ive tried celery sticks with a lc chees and onion sandwich spread on it.
It only has 1g/100g, it is gorgeous, really filling and high in fibre I think.
