Default Back on the wagon, D1/P1, and have a question!

Hey y'all!

I'm jumping back on the South Beach wagon!

Question; can I use CoffeeMate SF creamer as my sweet treat for the day? In the meal plan it says I can have SF candies but I'd rather have my SF creamer in the morning instead.

Thanks in advance!

Hi and Welcome!

Good to get back on this wagon, huh?

Sorry to tell you but CoffeeMate is one of those foods that contain HFCS=high fructose corn syrup and is a definite on any good controlled/low carb plan that wants us to eat whole, fresh and unprocessed foods as much as possible.

Its important to read the ingredient labels to see whats actually in all these processed foods so that we can make better choices for oursevles.
I use H&H in my big mugg of morning coffee. I buy organic hazelnut beans and with the H&H, its delish!!

Just wanted to welcome you back.
Is this a flavor creamer or just plain cremer? I use fat free regular creamer liquid and count it as dairy for the day. I also use a sf flavor syrup if I want a sweet cup of coffee. (davinci)
Like Judy said those powder creamers aren't very good for you.

Have a great day.

Hello Skippie!

It is a flavored creamer... I absolutely love my SF Coffeemate, sad day for me that I have to give it up.

Just re-think this......Use the sf flavor syrup and ff liquid creamer. I have a large coffee cup and I just use about 2 teaspoons of flavor syrup, and 1 tablespoon creamer. ( I have a shot glass that measures teaspoon-tablespoons)
I have to say its just as good as the coffee mate stuff.

You can find the flavor syrups at most grocery stores its usually by the coffee. I buy mine at sams club or mail order as its cheaper.
