I do the same thing. A digital and an analog.

The digital is always retaining a number from days before. The analog moves more.

I agree. You shouldn't be cruely teased by that terrible scale. Get rid of it. Send it to me...

I guess it's time for a new scale. Last night's 185 could be right but so could this mornings 193. No way to know. <sigh>

Damned scales!

I love my Tanita!! Its always accurate and consistent. Amazon sells them.

193 ain't bad either!!

Me too. Always accurate. Well, the weight is. I'm not so sure about the bf %.

It's also available at Target. In my local Target it's with the exercise stuff NOT with the other bathroom scales.

My Tanita does not measure bf %....the only true measure for that is by caliper. I got a basic scale that measures total weight only.

I own the BF680W: http://www.tanita.com/BodyFat_BodyWater.shtml

http://www.thecompetitiveedge.com/s....176160781.html

It also claims to measure body water %. That number also seems to be suspect.

This was the only one they had in stock at Target when I bought it. The weight is very accurate, and that's all I need it for.

I am also a fan of Tanita. Mine seems pretty consistent, which is all I ask for. It probably isn't as accurate as the good ol doctor scales, but if it keeps moving the right way....I don't care about the actual number.
