Hi Patches,
What exactly do you want to make that makes your mince need thickening? Because I no longer use anything to thicken my mince.
I either make a Bolognese type thing with canned tomatoes (have to read the labels carefully to find the one with the fewest carbs ) or make stir fries with mince, various vegies and a splash of soy sauce.
The trick with the Bolognese is to cook it until most of the excess liquid has evaporated - makes it seem much less watery.
Mashed cauliflower can work well to thicken soups among other things, but as I'm not sure what you want to make I'm not sure if that would help your mince.
If you just mean savoury mince, try it with tomato and a few other vegies, and you may well find it's even better without flour.
Cheers,
Rosebud
