Local LC Support Group

Good Day!

Has anyone started a local support group for LC? We have a pretty strong community with support groups for everything from "Narcotics Annonymous" to "Families with Twins." I really wish there was a group that met once a week for folks on LC diets.
Has anyone ever started or joined a local group like this and can give me insight as to what it takes to start one? Thanks for your suggestions... mad

I'm in Manhattan - Atkins doesn't seem to be all to popular here (although I have my suspicions - Diet Rite seems to fly off the shelves and pork rinds are suddenly available everywhere...
