Default Whipping cream & Costco

Kara: Whipping cream is is only 3 carbs for 1/2 a cup (44 fat). Yesterday I was low for the day in carbs & very low in fats so that's why I had it. It is a nice treat to help bring my ratio's up. I have it about once a week - a planned event so I don't get surprized when I plug it into fitday.com!

Did a Costco meat stock up today so my freezer is full for a while. The only thing I don't like about Costco is that they cut up their chicken wings into pieces. I like to have the whole wing! I shake them in parmesan cheese (& I'll now add the sesame seeds I bought yesterday) and then bake them - yummy! I use parmesan to coat pork chops too (that's what I'm having for dinner tonight along with some just picked yesterday spinach from a friend).

Hope everybody has a great week!

Janet

Talking Costco (my fav subject!)

Janet, I just love Costco's meat selection. I agree on the wings, though. Maybe we should tell them. They don't know you aren't happy unless you tell them. (I tell my customers that often)
The pork chops are to die for and once a month we buy a package of the rib eye steaks. They range in price from 27-32 dollars for a package of 3 steaks, but worth every penny! We split the 3rd steak for lunch the next day.
Enjoy your dinner and you have a great week too!

Hi everybody!

I am thrilled to say that I had a visit from the whoosh fairy & she took away 2.5 pounds this week. Not having cashews in the house has been a big help. I am actually at 211.5 but when you put .5's in your profile, it mucks up the percentage shown & I love to see that percentage!

Hope some of you can make it out to Sidney this weekend for Sidney Days! Street market on Sunday (they close off part of the main street), parade & kids festival on Monday.

Janet

Question PIC NIC???

Didn't someone once mention something about a pic nic?

Need help coordinating that? Need inspiration? I know I am interested & motivated!
I hope I hear from some/all about this previously proposed idea....!

PS I Hope this finds you all
happy, healthy & smiling!

I also think I am a smilies addict. Is there a support group for that? LOL

Picnic sounds good to me - I have been so focused on my co-director role for my church's kids day camp which started today that I forgot about it. Any evening or weekend is o.k. with me except the weekend of Aug 17/18 - I'll be out of town.

My cousin Shelley is out of town until the end of the week so I'll let her know that we are planning this when she returns.
