Default low carb on tv

I'm new and haven't checked all the threads. So please excuse me if i'm behind the times, but it doesn't seem to me that there is a daily tv show dedicated to low carbing.

I did see a special on the food channel discussing lc diets, which was good except, of course, the title of the show was "fad diets."

<<sigh>>

I'd really like to see a show by chefs like George and Stella (do I have that right?) for recipes and new products.

What do you all think? And if you agree, how do we go about pressuring those in power?

much love,

Angela aka wizzle

Hi Angela!

While I'm not sure about a daily show, George Stella will be getting his own low carb cooking show on Food Network to be debuting some time this spring. Guess we'll have to keep posted to find out when.

Default George Stella

George Stella really inspired me. I taped the food network show he was recently in. I thought the during the show he said he had a web site, but they never said what it was. Does anyone know if he has a site and how to get there?

Here's his website http://www.lowcarbchefs.com/bio.htm.

Besides magazines and newspapers, The Low Carb Chefs have been featured on FOX and CBS Television Nightly News in Orlando, Florida. They also appear regularly on the FOXNews national TV morning news show “Fox and Friends” where they have made great cravings-busters such as low-carb gourmet PIZZA, Key Lime Cheesecake and Strawberry Shortcake Martinis!

The Low Carb Chefs are also the Official Chefs for The Atkins Cruises around the world where they not only provide special low carb parties, but they have also been guest speakers alongside Dr Atkins and the center staff.

He and Rachel are good examples of the LC WOL. He was at 470 lbs, in a wheel chair & had heart failure. Now he's in good health.

There is also a good little video on that site that includes how to read food labels.
