Default Cheesecake w/ SF Jello

This morning my aunt surprised me with a new dessert.

She made lemon jello (you can use any flavor you want of course)with a cheese cake layer on top with whip cream on top of that..

It's simple and was REALLY good.

There are plenty of recipes for cheesecake on here so I won't go into details on how to make it except this.

She made the jello first, then when it was strong enough she put a layer of cheesecake on top spreading it evenly, then put it in the fridge, after done she sliced it and put some whip cream on top. This way you don't have to flavor the cream cheese or need the crust since the jello is the crust in a sense and the flavor of the cheesecake. Just alot thicker than crust normally is, of course you can make it thinner if you wish. Just experiment with the proportions you desire.

I had a recipe years ago that used SF lemon jello and cream cheese. You mixed it with hot water in the blender and blended it all together, including the cream cheese. Then you poured it into a bowl and into the fridge to set, made an almost mousse like consistency that I loved. The cream cheese rises to the top in a light fluffy layer.. ( and Im drooling just thinking of it, think I'll go make some now lol . :P )
